Privacy policy

Updated: 2 September 2026

Verific is a free technical tool that, at your request, opens the site you give it and checks three common technical signs of non-compliance with Law 195/2024. It is not a full compliance audit. This page explains what data is processed in the process.

Who the operator is

The operator is DRICOMM LTD, registered in the United Kingdom (company number 16652961). For any question about data processing: info@dricomm.com.

What data is processed

Purposes of processing: carrying out the website check you requested, and protecting the service from abuse.

The IP address of your device — temporarily, to limit the number of checks from one address and protect the service from abuse.

The website address you enter in the check field — to run the check. Do not enter personal data in this field.

Technical web-server logs at the hosting provider.

The address is logged in full, including any query parameters — do not put personal data in it. The browser may also send automatic Content Security Policy (CSP) violation reports; these are logged without personal data.

We do not use analytics, ad pixels, or third-party scripts, and we do not create accounts. The check result is not stored in a database: it is built in memory, returned to you, and cached briefly — see the "Retention periods" section for details.

Legal basis

Processing of the IP address and logs is based on legitimate interest: keeping the service working and secure. Processing of the address you enter is to perform the service you requested.

Cookies

The site uses a single functional cookie — NEXT_LOCALE. It stores only the chosen interface language (ru, ro or en), so the site shows in the same language on your next visit. The cookie contains no identifiers and is not used for tracking; it is strictly necessary and, by law, does not require a consent banner. The site sets no other cookies or browser storage.

Retention periods

The check result, together with the address that was checked, is cached in the service's memory for about 10 minutes — so that re-checking the same address returns instantly — and then deleted. The per-IP check counter is also held in memory for about 10 minutes and then cleared. Hosting-provider logs are kept for their standard period (usually up to 30 days). The language cookie lasts for the browser session.

Who data is shared with

We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. Technical infrastructure is provided by hosting providers (including Vercel Inc. and Railway Corp.), which process data on our instructions.

Transfers outside Moldova

Hosting-provider servers may be located in the EU or the USA. Where data is transferred outside Moldova, standard contractual clauses (SCC) and other mechanisms provided by applicable law are used.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova (CNPDCP, datepersonale.md). In practice, the service doesn't create accounts and doesn't keep check results, so there is, in essence, only what's listed above under "What data is processed" to ask about: your IP address (while it hasn't yet been cleared from memory or from the hosting provider's logs) and the website address you entered, if it ended up in those logs.
